Juniper Campbell is a licensed professional counselor with decades of experience in psychology and counseling. She uses various therapeutic approaches and techniques tailored to each person's unique needs and goals. Juniper may use modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, EMDR therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Somatic Therapy, or other evidence-based practices to help clients overcome their difficulties and improve their overall quality of life.

 

Juniper is a Certified EMDR therapist, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional offering trauma-informed therapy, and a Certified Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor through the National Board of Certified Counselors. Furthermore, she is a Gottman-trained clinician specializing in communication skills and improving relationship dynamics. Juniper is trained in military core cultural competency, which allows her to understand the military ethos and its implications in therapy. She works with active-duty military personnel, veterans, and first responders. In addition, Juniper is a pioneer in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and has facilitated multiple programs. She has also contributed her skills as an equine therapist to various non-profit organizations. Juniper is a board member of the High Desert Rough Riders, a non-profit that works to raise funds to provide additional financial resources for veteran organizations.

 

Juniper has trained with some of the most prominent trauma psychologists and theorists in the field today. She continually seeks new resources, research, training, and techniques to expand her expertise and stay up-to-date on advancements in the mental health field.

When Juniper is not working with clients, she enjoys spending time outdoors. She is passionate about horseback riding, mule packing, hiking, and skiing. Having lived in the Verde Valley for nearly 30 years, Juniper is intimately familiar with Sedona's mountains, valleys, rivers, ruins, and surrounding areas. She is well-traveled and believes that her experiences around the world have given her a unique perspective to draw from in her counseling practice. Juniper actively practices the skills she recommends to her clients to live a more fulfilled and joyous life.
