I offer individual session for adults, couples sessions and day or multiple day intensive sessions. I specialize in working with veterans and first responders as well as trauma survivors. My counseling approach is eclectic using a foundation of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person Centered Psychotherapy (PCT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). I am trained through the Gottman Institute for couples counseling.
Through coaching, I can help you to define your goals and formulate a plan that uses your skills to achieve these goals. My job is keeping your on track and accountable by providing structure, encouragement and support. I can assist you in improving performance and maximizing personal and professional potential.
Sometimes during the sessions it becomes clear that some of the more alternative treatments might be more effective and I might make this suggestion. We can incorporate those techniques and always return to a more traditional form of talk therapy. I have been in the healing arts for over 30 years in various capacities.
