JUNIPER CAMPBELL, LPC
All people have an innate wisdom and knowledge to make good choices for their lives. Sometimes we just need a little additional support, insight or fresh perspective to see with clarity. In a therapy session, clients are guided, educated and facilitated to personal empowerment and healing. With a little support and encouragement, we are all capable of obtaining the fulfilled and happy lives we deserve.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Arizona (license # LPC-15211) and an EMDR trained therapist through the EMDR Institute. I received my bachelors from the University of Michigan and my Masters Degree from Prescott College. I am eclectic in my approach using a foundation of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Person Centered Psychotherapies (PCT). I work with adults and adolescent girls (age 13+). With the skills that I bring to my practice, I can help you to find more peace, balance, relief and happiness . I am known to be authentic in my approach, compassionate, a great listener, concise and direct while balancing with support and encouragement. |
I have been in the field of equine assisted mental health for over 15 years and find working with horses and people to be one of the most effective tools to assist clients in deep introspection, life changing shifts and immense personal growth. Horses have always been a part of my life and when I learned to stop talking and listen, the horses had so much to tell me about who I am and they can do the same for you. The adventure to become an equine assisted therapist began in 2005 with certification at Prescott College's EAP program followed by certification through Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association. In 2010, I began conducting sessions in the Verde Valley through my program Experience Equine Assisted Therapy. The program has been temporarily closed yet I am hoping to be able to resume within the next year. I am an avid rider and enjoy packing mules in the mountains. I am grateful every day to have some of the most magnificent riding terrain to adventure on and explore in the Verde Valley and throughout the West. |
